How many grilles you need and what area
The calculation is the same for every series: 50 cm² of inlet opening per 1 kW of firebox output, and roughly 1.4 times more outlet area, because hot air takes up more volume. A 14 kW insert therefore needs about 700 cm² in and about 980 cm² out. Split that area across 2–4 grilles and spread them between rooms: heat distributes more evenly than through one large opening.
Inlet grilles go at the bottom of the convection chamber, outlets at the top. Plastic grilles must never be used near a firebox: they do not survive the temperature.
Which series to choose
CLASSIC is the base series with the widest size choice, including versions with adjustable louvres. HIDE uses fixed louvres that conceal the opening, so the grille reads as a solid panel. LOFT are elongated straight grilles for modern interiors. LOFT ANGLE are corner grilles for corner fireplaces, in left and right versions.
