Fireplace cassette, or wood-burning fireplace insert — is an efficient convection-type heating device that ensures independence from gas and electricity for home heating.

A fireplace insert is a compact structure that is installed in two cases:

for updating and modernizing an existing fireplace. In this case, the fireplace insert is mounted inside an existing fireplace or fireplace box;
installation of a heating system from scratch: building a fireplace box with a system of ventilation grilles and air distribution and using a fireplace insert.

High energy efficiency

The SAVEN fireplace insert boasts high performance, power, and efficiency. Effective burning and pyrolysis gas afterburning are made possible by advanced solutions combining a combustion chamber lined with 35 mm thick chamotte and 30 mm thick vermiculite.

Chamotte absorbs heat and retains it for a long period, while vermiculite increases combustion temperature and minimizes emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.

Environmental friendliness and safety

SAVEN fireplace inserts have passed European certification and comply with ECODesign standards, with an energy efficiency class of A+. These documents specify the allowable levels of CO2 and other harmful emissions into the air.

Eco-friendly paint is used for the cassettes, which does not emit smoke when ignited, as it undergoes a crystallization process during baking at the production stage, not during installation in the room.

The sealing of the fireplace insert is another indicator of its safe operation. The body of the cassette is made of high-quality steel and hermetically welded using various methods, including laser welding.

We also use SAVEN's patented ultra-strong door profile in our fireplace inserts. Our door profile is resistant to bending and twisting under high temperatures, and it does not expand or deform.

Modern technologies

The steel fireplace inserts SAVEN are designed with the possibility of connecting an external air supply from both the bottom and the back of the device. Changing the nozzle is simple and convenient if needed.

The chimney gas outlet can also be connected in two ways: either from the top of the insert or from the back.

Reliability and durability thanks to quality materials

For the production of the cassettes, we use hot-rolled carbon low-alloy boiler steel from Ukrainian production, the key advantage of which is strength. Vermiculite 30 mm is used for the walls of the device and Czech chamotte 35 mm for its bottom.

For safe viewing of the fire, the cassette is equipped with heat-resistant glass from the German manufacturer Schott Robax. It is made of transparent glass-ceramic with a thickness of 4 mm, which allows it to withstand temperatures up to 760°C.

Ease of use and simple maintenance

The SAVEN fireplace inserts have only one regulator that controls the burning intensity. With it, you can smoothly and easily adjust the air supply to the combustion chamber, thus affecting the intensity of the flame.

Moreover, the fireplace insert system is designed so that the device itself distributes the necessary air flow to different parts: to the glass (to ensure the “clean glass” system) and to the lower part of the combustion chamber (to the flame).

Thanks to the clean glass system, soot deposits are minimal. The glass is separated from the fireplace by an air curtain. This prevents it from getting dirty and simplifies the maintenance of the fireplace insert. The air supplied to the glass is used for pyrolysis gas afterburning.

The compact size and weight of steel fireplace inserts allow them to be installed in almost any convenient location. In addition, the steel insert can be installed at any stage of renovation.
